Only God is an eternal Spirit, uncreated, other, of an entirely different order. God made human beings in His image (Genesis ), but we are still part of the material world. Each of us had a specific beginning, and are bounded by three-dimensional experience and passing time. Being immersed in time and space, we become overwhelmed and. In fact there is no wrong answer. Anything that is not pleasing to God or goes against His Word is sin. Through Him alone we can know God personally and experience God’s love and plan. The same is true for the extra questions in Question Five below. When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth (Read John ) We Receive Christ.

Hard core atheism, the belief that there is no God (anti-theism), is difficult to defend, so the new softer, friendlier atheism defines itself as "we would believe in God if there was enough evidence". Most of the atheists you will meet are in reality agnostics (no-knowledge). It seems reasonable and humble to admit that we do not know. (Revelation ). God responds with a call to patiently wait until the proper time. There is, however, a difference between sincerely asking God questions and accusing God of wrongdoing. Such an attitude would be wrong, as God is perfect and never sins or lies (Hebrews ). He is not tempted, nor does He tempt others (James ).

We know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one: Because there is only One True God, idols are not competing gods. Idols are therefore nothing in the world, and are only so-called gods. i. If meat is offered to Zeus, there is no real Zeus. There is no other God but one. “He” is only one of the so-called. God asks men questions when He already knows everything. Because God is sovereign over His creation, whether visible or invisible, He has to be all-knowing. God is omniscient (1 John ). “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews ).

Certainly, here atwe would argue that God exists and that there is plenty of evidence for the fact. The Bible says there is a God, that nature demonstrates a Creator (Psalm ), and that God reveals enough of Himself in the world for people to know of Him (Romans ).

Add tags for "How do we know there is a god?: and other questions inappropriate in polite society". Be the first. All my life I have been confused about the whole religious world so I tell people I am agonostic.

Some times I think there is a GOD and sometimes I don’t. It all seems unreal to me but I want to learn about it maybe help me believe and get a better understanding. Because if there is a GOD I want to develop a relationship with him.

I just want to learn about GOD and Jesus. The Bible answers many difficult questions, the type of questions that when not satisfactorily answered can lead a person to atheism. For example: If God is loving and all-powerful, why is there suffering and evil in the world. Why is religion so often an influence for bad rather than for good.

—Titus 1: Another reason that we know God exists is because He has appeared in human flesh. Jesus Christ was God Almighty who became a man. The Bible says, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (JohnRSV), and it is clear about the fact that Jesus came to Earth to reveal who God is and what He is all about (John ).

“Prove to Me There Is a God” The skeptic’s condemning cry often comes as, “Prove to me there is a God.” Usually the agnostic or atheist expects physical or scientific evidence for the existence of God, but when the Bible believer cannot point to a living being and say, “There is God,” the skeptic thinks he has won.

What people often do not realize is that even if God appeared on. First, nature is evidence of the existence of God. We all know that words can’t do justice to the beauty and grandeur of the natural world. Whether it’s the depth of the blue sea, the power packed into a hurricane, or the colorful hues of the simplest sunset, there is something jaw dropping about the world in which we live.

Presents multiple scientific and logical reasons to conclude that God exists in easy-to-read articles. Clear, concise, and straightforward. Top Ten Questions College Students Ask About God and the Christian Faith 1) How do you know there is a God. Moral argument: Theory of morality‐ We have a natural law within us (Romans ), our conscience, and this inner sense of what is right and wrong necessitates that.

Question: "Does God exist?" Answer: Whether God exists is the most important question any person can consider. Opinions on God are everywhere, but answering the question does God exist.

demands more than a few seconds of attention and involves a wide range of ideas and evidence. Ultimately, what we see in human experience, science, logic, and history leads to a confident answer: yes, God.

Faith questions are signs of growth in Christ, not signs of weakness. When we ask questions about God, they can travel more deeply into a mature faith. God has not left us without evidence for His existence. He knows we would be foolish to make up something. Why does God ask questions. God is omniscient, which means, He knows all says that "his understanding is beyond measure." God knows everything about all things; therefore, He also knows everything about us, even down to "the secrets of the heart" (Psalm ; see also 1 John ).

How can I know God. What does it mean to love God. Why don’t some people believe in God. What does it mean to praise God. Why can’t we see God. If God loves everyone, why are there still starving people around the world. Why did God make me short / tall.

Why do we worship God. Why is worship important. Why should I believe in God. Are we. Often the hardest people to convince that they need God are the people who are convinced they don’t need God.

They aren’t necessarily bad people; in fact, like your cousin, they may be very good. But even their goodness can be a barrier, because it makes them think they don’t need God. Still, there is something within us, something that cries out for meaning, purpose, and direction, and we naturally look to God for their fulfillment.

Atheistic evolution doesn't do it. Some people have said that the reason people believe in God is because societies have brainwashed children into believing he exists. Our questions for God are often numerous—but have we deeply considered the questions that He asks us. Because God is all-knowing, His questions in Scripture can be easy to pass over as we read and study; after all, He already has the answers, right.

But what if His reason for questioning us isn’t to discover something new, but to challenge us to consider the state of our own hearts. Stephen Hawking comes right out and says it. He is an atheist. ).The other night at bedtime, after we had read a Bible story and prayed, my oldest daughter, Chara, aged 8, fired a series of questions at me which came from her innermost being.

"How do I know if creation is true? In fact, how do I know if there really is God I've never seen Him. The girl next doors' teacher believes in evolution.Answers to some of the most common questions about God. Get the facts. The clear explanations found in God’s Word may surprise you.
